Overview

Media Saver is made by PYS DEV (Plain Yogurt Smoothie Dev). This policy explains what data the Media Saver Lite browser extension and the Media Saver Pro desktop engine handle. In short: your videos stay on your computer. We receive only what is needed to activate a Pro license and, unless you turn them off, technical error reports from Pro.

Media Saver Lite (Chrome extension)

The Lite extension does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. It reads the media addresses on the page you are viewing only to show them to you, and saved files are written directly to your device. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking code in the extension.

Media Saver Pro (Windows engine)

All downloading, merging and verification happen locally on your PC. Your videos, downloaded files and browsing history are never sent to us. The engine contacts our services for two purposes only. To activate and validate a license, it sends:

This information is processed by Lemon Squeezy's license service and used solely to manage your license. The second purpose is optional error reports, described below.

Error reports (on by default, can be turned off)

Pro includes an error-report feature that is turned on by default. You can turn it off at any time in the engine settings. When it is on and an error occurs, the engine sends an error log used only for troubleshooting and for verifying technical issues in refund requests. Sensitive data such as video URLs and file paths is removed or masked before sending. Error reports never include video content. When the feature is off, no error logs are sent.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. Payment details are collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy under its own privacy policy; we do not receive your full card details.

This website uses no cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party scripts, and its fonts are served from this domain.

Retention and your rights

License records are kept for as long as your license is active and as required for tax and accounting purposes. Error reports are kept only as long as needed to resolve the issue or refund request. You may request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us.
